First of all the house is really cute from the outside - went in and was greeted by the gracious host - handled my business and was excorted upstairs to an "upgraded" room with a bathroom inside (thanks Ben).....The house and furnishings are antique and I just loved them however I had a few noise issues. Since I had a long day - I wanted to go to sleep early and was kept awake by some singing coming from the innkeepers quarters and then the front door closing a few times later when everyone left. I should explain that I don't sleep well in strange places and I'M a light sleeper - I really should have just gone home - anyway, got up at 4AM and left - missed your "home-cooked" breakfast.
We stayed in the Esopus room for 3 people. The furniture was dated, but the room and bathroom were clean and well-stocked.
The porch outside is fantastic, and after driving/hiking around the Catskills we came back and had our lunch outside. He was even able to allow us to use the place all day on the day we were leaving, since no one was checking into our room. So accommodating. The best service!

Simply amazing. We stayed here for a night at a very reasonable price in the summer. Ben is the best part of the experience. He was incredibly accommodating since we came in at 1 am, and had to have a very late breakfast. Frittata was delicious. Coffee was very tasty.
Beautiful house. Had best night sleep in about a decade. Great breakfast. Wish I could've stayed a week.
Ben also helped us a lot with planning our day.He figured out some great local waterfalls to check out too!
